Meet the PMB and PMC Team!

Get to know familiar faces who will assist you in our MLK 177 office and at community events! Our team of 12 staff, 3 board members, and 1 faculty advisor provides easy-to-access resources and works towards establishing communication channels within the publications and media community.

Nikita Jain (she/her)

PMC Co-Director, PMB Steering Committee Member

Nikita is a senior studying Cognitive Science and Design Innovation. She just returned from a semester abroad in Singapore, and is involved with Berkeley Innovation outside of PMC. This is her 3rd year with the PMC! Favorite media: Sense8.

Mads Mayfield (they/she)

Marketing & Communications

Mads is a third year Business Administration/Psychology major. Her primary interests lie in how management and communication can be improved in a creative and socially responsible way. Her main involvements beyond PMC include lab work, presidency at CAA, and sustainability consulting. Favorite media: The Last Podcast on the Left

Summer is a fourth year English major. She serves as a managing editor for Berkeley Fiction Review & an executive board member of CalSLAM. She is joining the PMC staff for the third year in a row. Favorite media: Bluets by Maggie Nelson. 

Anna Ho (she/her)

Marketing & Communications

Anna is an English major and excited to be back for another year of serving the publications and media community. She is also the assistant editor of the Weekender, the Daily Californian's weekly culture magazine. Favorite media: The Good Place

Nirvana Ellaboudy (she/her)

Marketing and Communications

Nirvana Ellaboudy is a third year Media Studies major from Orange County, CA. Last semester she was a part of the news team for KALX and is now excited to be involved with the Cal Literature and Arts Magazine as a staff member. Favorite piece of media: NPR Music tiny desk concerts

Leyla Lacombe (she/her)

Programs Project Manager & PMB Steering Committee Member

Leyla is a fourth year Media Studies and Theatre double major from France. She serves as the Programs Project Manager at the PMC and cannot wait to celebrate a full year of working with this amazing crew. She is also involved in the film community. Favorite Media: Brooklyn 99


Bailey Vega (she/her)

Marketing & Communications

Bailey Vega is a senior English major who transferred to Berkeley as a junior from the Central Valley. As an undergrad, she has been involved in student publications and is currently a staff member of Cal Literature and Arts Magazine (CLAM). Petting dogs and watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine make her happy. Hannah Nyugen (she/her)

Programs Assistant 

Hannah is a senior studying political science and history, with aspirations to go to law school and work in the field of First Amendment law. She is a contributor to the Daily Clog and loves listening to musicals. Favorite media: NPR's Ask Me Another

Michelle Park  (she/her)

Programs Assistant

Michelle is a third year English and Media Studies double major from St. Louis, Missouri. In her free time, she enjoys watching Michael Schur TV shows, listening to podcasts, and drinking too much Diet Coke. She is editor-in-chief of Caliber Magazine and hopes to study communications in grad school. Favorite media: This American Life Podcast. 

Jackie Nam (she/her)

Design Consultant

Jackie is a third year Media Studies major. She serves as the design lead for The B-Side, UC Berkeley’s only music magazine, and a photographer for SUPERB. After graduation, she hopes to be a part of a multimedia production company and create projects that enhances the human experience. Favorite Media: Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard

Conor Granick (he/him)

Programs Assistant

Conor is a junior Film Studies major with a minor in creative writing from Palos Verdes, CA with aspirations to screen-write and direct. Favorite media is: True Detective.

Sophia Stewart (she/her)

PMB Steering Committee

Sophia is a third-year Media Studies major with a double minor in Creative Writing and Spanish. She is Editor-in-Chief of Caliber Magazine and works as a writing tutor in the Film & Media department. Favorite Media (at the moment): HBO’s The Leftovers!

Jaydon Krooss (he/him)
PMB Steering Committee
Jaydon Krooss is a third-year undergrad studying Cognitive and Data Science. Alongside the Publications and Media Board, he's a part of ASUC Event Services as a Event Planning Assistant and serves as an executive director for external relations in CalTV. He's also involved in Berkeley Special, a media project of UCBMFET. Favorite Media: Sugar Pine 7 on YouTube

Nicholas Chiu (he/him)

PMB Steering Committee 

Nick is a Math/CS double major and an Hong Kong-Australian out of water. He is passionate about films, photography and food! Favorite media: Consider the Lobster by David Foster Wallace.
