Meet the Publications and Media Board Team!

Our team is made up entirely of student staff, all of whom are members of the Cal publications and media community and who are working towards establishing communication channels within and permanent resources for the publications and media community.

Henry F. Isselbacher

Executive Director, ASUC Publications & Media Board

Student Lead, Publications and Media Center

As Executive Director of the PMB, Henry serves as Chair of the Steering Committee and is responsible for guiding the semesterly vision of the Board and working with stakeholders to set advocacy goals for the publciations and media community on campus. Additionally, Henry oversees the day-to-day operations of the Publications and Media Center — the campus department with in the Student Union that engages with the Board to offer tangible services and resources to students and RSOs. Henry works closely with Student Union and ASUC administration to ensure that the needs of publications and media RSOs on campus are being met. His primary focus this year is to ensure that RSOs are supported in a post-pandemic environment after substantial disruptions to the status quo for content production and distribution among publications and media organizations. Henry is currently a sophomore double majoring in Economics and Public Health with a minor in Public Policy. He is also on the board of the Berkeley Economic Review, and he serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the ASUC.

Daniella Lake

Daniella Lake is a sophomore studying Media Studies and has an interest in media, storytelling, and education. In addition to the Publications and Media Board, Daniella is the producer and host of The Graduates, a radio show from KALX 90.7 FM, Cal’s campus radio station. As a part of the PMB, Daniella hopes to foster a stronger sense of community and connection between RSOs.

Jonathan Kuo

Steering Committee Member

Jonathan Kuo is a senior double majoring in Rhetoric and Molecular and Cell Biology. He is interested in writing about the history of science and medicine and its relation to culture and society. He currently writes and edits for Public Health Advocate and advises Berkeley Scientific Journal, of which he is former editor-in-chief. This year, he looks forward to building stronger relationships among student groups involved in publication and media and increasing accessibility and awareness of PMB resources and services.
